Indigenous Collaborative Design Workshop
Service Description
This interactive workshop is designed to support Indigenous decision makers in co-creating plans and designs that deeply reflect community values and aspirations. Centered on collaboration and cultural integrity, the course emphasizes addressing Nation priorities through meaningful engagement and shared leadership. Participants will explore crucial methodologies including asset and liability mapping as well as legacy disturbance risk assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of their lands, resources, and cultural sites. This foundation enables the development of plans that honor both present needs and future well-being, aligning community visions with sustainable design practices. Through hands-on exercises and guided discussions, attendees will build capacity to lead planning processes that safeguard their heritage, empower their communities, and cultivate resilient futures. This workshop fosters respectful partnerships and strategic frameworks for effective decision-making grounded in Indigenous knowledge and priorities.
Cancellation Policy
Veness Consultants require all appointments to be booked in advance via their online system or office, with a valid credit card needed to secure bookings. Confirmation emails are sent after successful bookings. Cancellations made 24 hours in advance are free, while those within 24 hours incur a 50% charge, and no-shows are charged fully. Clients can join a waitlist if their preferred time is unavailable and will be notified on a first-come, first-served basis. Waitlist spots must be confirmed within 2 hours. Veness Consultants may update these policies with notice, and separate terms apply for group bookings. Clients agree to these policies upon booking.
