This workshop supports Indigenous decision makers in effectively planning and managing industry infrastructure and operational needs throughout project lifecycles. Emphasizing holistic and strategic approaches, the course ensures that development initiatives align with community priorities while protecting the ability to exercise Indigenous rights. Participants will learn to balance operational requirements with cultural and environmental stewardship by including risk management, resource allocation, and impact mitigation strategies. Special focus is placed on safeguarding access to traditional lands and minimizing loss of use, ensuring that economic development respects and upholds Indigenous sovereignty. Through practical tools and collaborative frameworks, attendees will be equipped to lead full-cycle planning processes that promote sustainable industry growth while honoring and preserving Indigenous rights and values.
Cancellation Policy
Veness Consultants require all appointments to be booked in advance via their online system or office, with a valid credit card needed to secure bookings. Confirmation emails are sent after successful bookings. Cancellations made 24 hours in advance are free, while those within 24 hours incur a 50% charge, and no-shows are charged fully. Clients can join a waitlist if their preferred time is unavailable and will be notified on a first-come, first-served basis. Waitlist spots must be confirmed within 2 hours. Veness Consultants may update these policies with notice, and separate terms apply for group bookings. Clients agree to these policies upon booking.
